Kearen Enright is an illustrator,  writer,  licensed wildlife rehabilitator,  and the mother of four children.  Ms. Enright wrote and illustrated QUARRY STORY, a picture book about the history of the  brownstone quarries of Portland, CT., which was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2000. Kearen illustrated COURAGE, a chapter book written by Dr. Peter Gletzakos, and Kearen was chosen by the CT Humanities to illustrated the first chapter in their mystery chapter book, THE GREAT CT CAPER.  Kearen is currently working on a series of children’s books based on several animals she has cared for in her clinic.

 In 2000, Ms. Enright became a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and established a small craft business called Rescue Creations that funds her wildlife rehabilitation efforts.  In 2008 she became a member of SCBWI.

Kearen was featured in the July 2009 edition of Natural Awakenings Magazine, and profiled in 2010 in a short segment for a CPTV show called “All Things Connecticut”.
